The brussels sprout is a small vegetable that has a biennial life cycle and is derived from kale. This is a tiny vegetable, whose size resembles that of a walnut, with yellowish green or grayish green leaves, with a flavor similar to the other cabbages, however, this one is more intense.

This plant fulfills its life cycle in two years, during the first year of life of this plant, only the formation of cabbages is generated in its axillary buds, while in its second year it blooms, sprouting at the ends of the stems flowers that are located in clusters and are yellow in color.

The brussels sprouts have in its composition a considerable amount of vitamin C, which is responsible for the fortification of the immune system, promotes the production of collagen and white blood cells.
