MAMEY 600gr

The mamey belongs to the sapote family, so it is also called mamey sapote or red sapote; it is distinguished by being an oval-shaped fruit, thin skin with rough texture, its pulp is reddish and the flavor is sweet; it measures 8 to 20 cm.

This fruit is 75 percent water and is high in carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron and phosphorus.

Its peculiar color is due to its high content of carotenes (pigments that color some fruits, vegetables and greens red and yellow) which have an antioxidant effect that are essential for our health, as they protect cells and strengthen the immune system.
