Sweet chili is a vegetal with a delicate flavor and a hot season, these can be eaten green or ripe and are used for salads, for fillings, soups, stews, or pickles.

Sweet chili peppers, when left to ripen, turn different colors depending on their variety, red, purple, orange or yellow, and gain different levels of sweetness according to their variety.

Although the light green and pale yellow varieties have more flavor, all sweet chilies have a similar flavor and texture. All are crisp and refreshing when raw, and have a pleasant flavor when delicately cooked.
