Soy meat is a plant protein that is obtained through the extrusion process of defatted soy flour. Also known by the name "textured vegetable protein," it completely replaces meat of animal origin; being similar in texture and appearance.

 It contains minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, iron and copper, and is rich in lecithin, which helps the assimilation of vitamins. It is also very beneficial for preventing constipation, thanks to its fiber percentage.
