The almond is the fruit of the almond tree, and like other nuts, the seed is the part that is consumed, which is wrapped in a cinnamon-colored film, in addition to an inedible outer shell, which represents an important weight of the almond (when this shell is removed, its weight is reduced by 40%), and a green skin that dries out.
