CHARD BIOMILPA 250gr

Chard is a green leafy vegetable found mainly in the Mediterranean. It is mainly characterized by being rich in insoluble fibers, which help regulate intestinal function and maintain the health of the digestive system, avoiding problems such as constipation.

Chard is characterized by its large bright green leaves and by its marked nerves, stems or stalks, they can be white, yellow or red, depending on the variety of chard in question, the best known are:

• Lyons yellow. Large, wavy leaves, very light yellow-green.
• Very pure white stalk, with a width of up to 10 cm.
• Green with white Bressane stalk. Very wavy, dark green leaves. Wide white stalks up to 15 cm.
• Other varieties: Verde penca blanca, R. Niza, Paros, Green and Fordook Giant.

These vegetables are very rich in fiber, they contain vitamins A, B1, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, in addition to vitamin E and K, they are also rich in minerals such as calcium, sodium, potassium, and they have copper content, iron and phosphorus.
