EPAZOTE 150gr

Epazote is considered a plant of scent that has been used in cooking since pre-Hispanic times to perfume and aromatize preparations. The origin of its name is linked to the Mexican Nahuatl language, from which comes the word "epaztl", which means skunk.

The epazote in food, is preferred to give a deep and very aromatic flavor to different dishes, almost always epazote leaves are added at the end of cooking the stew.

Epazote has health properties. When taken in tea, it helps to avoid colic or pain, regulates digestion, expels parasites and reduces stomach gas. Its most important ingredient is Ascaridol, which should be consumed in small quantities, only using the leaves, stems and seeds.
